    Visiting Roscoff fish auction market

    Photo Hervé Ronné

Roscoff fish auction market allows visitors of all ages to discover what goes behind the fishing industry: fish caught, occupations, know-how, etc.

For the curiosity of grown-ups and toddlers

Over its 90 m2, visitors can become familiar with the course of fish, from catch to plate, with a video documentary, a permanent exhibition and the comments of a guide, for an interactive visit of about one hour and fifteen minutes.  Picture windows provide a panoramic view on the grading of  fish and the preparation for sales. And a children's corner awaits the youngsters for the discovery of the marine world and the search for the mystery fish.

    Computerized sales and fishing occupations

Point of sale where the fish price is set, but also a multiple services location for professionals, the fish auction market opens to one and all. It is a unique opportunity to discover the professionalism displayed by fishermen and wholesale fish merchants, and the sequenced flow of operations, before, during and after the actual sale.
