The CCIs consist of departmental corporations of an administrative nature, steered by elected members, appointed by and among business people during regular elections, and under the supervision of the State. Morlaix CCI includes 24 full-fledged members, representing the three categories of companies that form it (trade, industry and services), elected for a five years mandate. They form the general assembly, a sovereign deliberative body, and participate in the proceedings by their vote, under the supervision of State representatives. They also participate in the work of commissions and working groups of which they are members. Advisors and technical advisors are also asked to participate in general assemblies and commissions, without entitlement to vote.
In general assemblies, the full-fledged members designate a board, consisting of a president, three vice-presidents, a treasurer, etc. The president is the CCI's legal representative in all of the proceedings of civilian life. It implements by delegation the general assembly's decisions. It is assisted by the board, with which it prepares and studies the questions which need to be submitted to the decision of the assembly. It relies on a general manager who ensures the management of all of the services.
